Octaware participated in a very huge industry exhibition called International ICT Expo., which was organized by HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council) the international marketing arm for Hong Kong based businesses (from manufacturing to service providers).
Having received the privileged invitation from ESCI, Octaware was one among the exclusive 25 Indian companies which were invited to participate in the event which was held in between 13th to 16th of April, 2012 and with companies participating from around the world. It was very huge Exhibition, covering all parts of IT (Electronics, Mobile, Software Development, etc.)
Mobile Application Development being a hot topic of interest at ICT Expo (in the software Development space) and incidentally being Octaware’s niche service/ solutions offering, a great number of enquiries poured in for the same. There has also been a paradigm shift in the software product ecosystem and the changing scenario is helping catalyze the development of market for software products. This was evident at the International ICT Expo too with Octaware’s flagship Employee Relationship Management software “PowerERM” garnering a very good response. Being active in seizing any good opportunity, Octaware has made the most of this chance/ opportunity which has provided us with a robust platform to gain a good entry in the Hong Kong Market enabled and spread our foot-prints further in South Asia.
Apparently, Octaware received intent of interest from some very good local companies who were seemingly quite impressed with our bouquet of software products and were interested to distribute our products in HongKong market. Out of these we have already initiated discussions with a strong local company ‘4P Media Software Ltd.’ to distribute our flagship product ‘PowerERM’ in the local market.
