Octaware Technologies Limited, demonstrating its excellence as the best in class software solution and service provider company, achieved yet another important milestone by bagging Project Management Institute (PMI) Awards 2020 under the category “Project of the Year – Contribution to the Community” for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project themed “Indo-US Cancer Aid – 2020”. This esteemed award recognizes and honors significant initiatives undertaken by organizations towards the community’s improvement and well-being through project management principles’ exemplary application.
The CSR Project Team of Octaware Technologies Limited has received this prestigious award in the virtual award ceremony organized by Project Management Institute (PMI) on 22nd November 2020.
The CSR Project team worked with NGO partner – RIDA Foundation, healthcare partner – Central Hospital, and education partner – Institute of Clinical Research India (ICRI) to create awareness about breast cancer in the people living in slums with insufficient resources and education. The project’s goal also included organizing the free diagnostic camp and providing treatment for people detected with cancer in 25 locations of Mumbai. The team used Project Management tools and techniques to execute the project efficiently and brought in innovation in project execution.

2nd Islamic Finance Forum for South Asia (IFFSA) 2017 in Sri Lanka
Octaware Technologies Limited won the IFFSA award under GOLD category, for its CSR project SAARTHI School for special children.
These awards were evaluated and assessed by panel of independent judges of repute.
The award was presented to our CEO – Mr. Aslam Khan on Tuesday 24th October 2017 at the Ramada Colombo Hotel in Sri Lanka.
