Meraj has worked in the information technology industry for over 20 years and now serves as the Head of Technology Practice & Presales at Octaware. An accomplished executive with a proven track record of delivering highly scalable enterprise solutions with modern software architectures, Meraj ensures Octaware’s technology platforms, solutions, and software architecture can evolve to support emerging customers and market opportunities. With extensive experience in formulating innovative product and services strategies, he leads our engineering delivery teams to success through strategic communication and collaboration between our customers, partners, and software development teams.

Before Octaware, Meraj held numerous technical leadership positions at Du Telecom, leading messaging, unified communication, and software business solutions. His role included leading teams worldwide, and hands-on experience building applications, and platforms, working directly with the developer community. Earlier in his career, Meraj served as head of Information Technology at the “Global Retails” division of the Al-Rajhi Investment Group, UAE. He was previously Information Technology Manager of Al-Hokair Group, Saudi Arabia. He also held technical expert positions at Microsoft Corporations, Mumbai and Citicorp India.

With a track record of leading successful enterprise solutions, implementation, and launching new products, Meraj is passionate about bringing the advantages of a digital transformation to the end-customers. He is committed to helping customers successfully adopt digital transformation strategy and cloud governance.

Meraj holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from ICFAI University in India
