Dr. Shyam Johari has a wealth of experience in almost every aspect of product development life cycle and heading business operations for leading IT services companies in USA. Dr. Johari recently served as: Executive Director, Board of Directors at S7 Software Solutions; Director – Product Performance and System Integration at Blue Coat Systems; Management Consultant; and Vice President for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) – America from June 2000 to August 2006.

At TCS, Dr. Johari was responsible for business operations of Hi-Tech vertical, South Central Region and Western Region at various times. Prior to this, Dr. Johari worked with Compaq (Tandem) from 1987 to 2000 as Director of Product Performance, System Integration, and India Software Development for Nonstop Division. From 1975 to 1987, Dr. Johari was with Burroughs (Unisys) in various management roles including Director- Financial Systems Group; Executive Assistant to VP of Corporate Quality; Senior Consultant for Network Design; and Marketing Manager of Burroughs Network Architecture. Dr. Johari was an Associate Editor of SIGMETRICS (an ACM publication) from 1988 to 1998.

Dr. Johari holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Illinois at Chicago.
